Android Sidebar : Native default styling forces the first menu item to be bold

Android native sidebar is incorrectly forcing the very first menu item to appear bolded (and sometimes with an active background state). This happens regardless of what page the user is currently on.

We originally thought this was caused by our dynamic median.sidebar.setItems() script. However, we tested this by removing our dynamic script entirely and relying only on the static sidebar items configured directly in Median's settings. The issue still occurs. The first item is always bolded by the native wrapper. This is not happening at iOS, and this can be noticed on initial load without click on any items
