OneSignal native bridge unavailable in Median APK — Push notifications not supported

Hello Median Support,

I am troubleshooting OneSignal push notifications in my LivingBreadHub Android app.

My Median App Studio configuration is:

- Android package: "co.median.android.yexloej"

- OneSignal plugin: Enabled

- OneSignal App ID: Configured

- Automatic registration: Enabled

- Foreground notifications: Enabled

- Legacy Mode: OFF

- Firebase/FCM configuration: Completed

- A new APK was built after the OneSignal configuration.

However, the physical Android 12 device shows:

“Push notifications are not supported on this device.”

I added a temporary diagnostic page to the web app to check the Median JavaScript Bridge.

The diagnostic results inside the newly rebuilt Median APK are:

- Median Bridge detected: YES

- OneSignal native bridge detected: NO

- OneSignal User ID: Not available

- Subscription ID: Not available

- Push Token: Not available

- Push Opted In: Unknown

- Privacy Consent Required: Unknown

- Native OneSignal Status: Info call failed

- Error: "median.onesignal.onesignalInfo is not available"

This is important because the general Median JavaScript Bridge is available, but the OneSignal native bridge is not.

According to your current OneSignal documentation, "median.onesignal.onesignalInfo()" is a supported Median JavaScript Bridge method for retrieving the OneSignal user ID, subscription ID, push token and subscription status.

Please investigate why the generated Android APK exposes the general Median bridge but does not expose the OneSignal native bridge.

Could you please confirm:

1. Whether the OneSignal native plugin was actually included in the generated APK.

2. Whether OneSignal SDK initialization is failing on Android 12.

3. Whether Android 12 is completely blocked from the current OneSignal native integration, rather than merely being unsupported by Median.

4. Whether the current Median App Studio OneSignal plugin requires any additional native configuration.

5. Whether there is a known issue with the current OneSignal SDK v5 integration or generated Android builds.

6. Whether there is any supported configuration/workaround that would allow OneSignal push notifications on this device.

I understand that Android 12 is now outside Median's officially supported Android versions. However, I would like to know whether the specific error "median.onesignal.onesignalInfo is not available" is caused by the Android 12 support limitation or by the OneSignal native plugin not being included/initialized in the generated APK.

The web application itself does not use browser notifications. The goal is native OneSignal push notifications so that the LivingBreadHub Daily Reminder can notify users even when the app is closed.

Thank you.
