Dark mode status bar seam between native title bar and status bar

In dark mode, there's a visible seam between the iOS status bar (black background) and the native title bar below it (shows "Haven Travel" on a light background) — the mismatch creates a visible crack/line at the very top of the screen. This only happens in dark mode; light mode looks seamless. Is the native title bar background configurable to follow dark mode, or is there a setting we're missing?
