Hiding the top-nav iOS native nav bar

Hello,

Is there any sort of JS code I can use to hide the native iOS top bar? I saw there were 2 other questions regarding this and the support team member on those posts just said to read the doc page on top navigation, which is not of any help in hiding the bar.

The only two options in the settings are 'auto' and 'always' --> why is there not an option to disable available?

In a different thread, the support person said to make sure custom buttons are turned off. But I can't even find those in the settings in median.co, and and I don't think we have them enabled. We do have the iOS contextual navigation enabled though.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!
